Color Portait in Monochrome

Eri and I made the journey out to Showa Park, which had been so beautiful during the cherry blossom season. It was considerably less spectacular in late August, and there was pouring rain to boot. In the interest of travelling light, I took only my 50mm prime, but nonetheless managed to get some photos I was quite happy with. This one is the result of a short break at a covered shelter in the park's large Japanese garden. It probably goes without saying that this photo was retouched with Photoshop.
