My niece Matsuri is six months old today. Here she is taking a nap at around three months. This picture was taken at my in-laws' house, in their Japanese-style room (washitsu), right next to a window covered with paper screens (shoji). I liked the soft, ambient lighting the shoji provided and decided to try taking picture without waking the little one up. This is the result.
