This young woman was posing for her mother in the Japanese garden at the Hotel New Otani. I suspect that she and her mother were attending a wedding at the hotel, and the mother decided to step out into the expansive garden for a few snapshots. The Hotel New Otani, incidentally, served as the bad guy's headquarters in the James Bond film You Only Live Twice back in 1967.
