Merry Christmas 2005 December 24, 2005 Tokyo, Japan Another year, and another Chocolate Christmas cake -- Christmas cakes themselves being a Japanese Christmas tradition almost as odd as aspiring to eat a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, which is probably just about the most depressing Christmas dinner imaginable to a westerner. Nonetheless, this year's cake photo turned out quite a bit better I think, thanks in part to using my 60mm macro lens (which I didn't have at this time last year), and even more importantly, using 580EX flash bounced off of a wall. The only other thing I need is a tilt-shift lens to get more of the cake in focus. Maybe next year! And to Bill O'Reilly -- Happy Holidays!
